Emily is an art advisor and creative consultant with over a decade of experience working for some of the most prominent institutions and private collections in New York. Her range of experience includes positions with Agnes Gund at The Museum of Modern Art, The Morgan Library, Artsy, the Gray Foy estate, Stony Brook University, and the Judy and Michael Steinhardt Collection. Her current interest as an independent advisor lies in connecting buyers with emerging artists and markets.
Emily guides individuals and corporations through every step of art acquisition, providing an insider’s perspective on navigating the contemporary market and building a formidable collection. She advises artists on all aspects of their careers, and specializes in facilitating artistic partnerships. With a trained eye and an extensive network, Emily also works with commercial clients seeking to implement rotating and permanent art installations of the highest caliber.
Emily holds a B.A. from New York University and a M.A. from Hunter College in Art History, and is completing her Ph.D. at Stony Brook University in postwar French art. Special areas of interest include works on paper, textiles, small and large-scale sculpture, and installation. She resides in Greenwich Village with her husband.
